I am a qualified garden designer, drawing on a wealth of working experience in conservation, environmental education, natural history, construction, craftsmanship in wood, landscaping and horticulture.

My work is characterised by a meticulous attention to detail and a hands-on approach. I have a thorough understanding of how a garden is built, and care deeply about the finished quality of my designs. I am passionate about plants, and am always involved in the planting of the garden, as this is the moment when life is finally breathed into the design.

I strive to combine the needs and aspirations of my clients with the ‘sense of place’ inherent in the space itself. I work with the resources available to create gardens that are distinctive, imaginative and practical, but that also have a character and a mood all of their own.
